Dallas 2001 Season Preview.

The Dallas mavericks are coming off their most succesful offseason in years. The future is looking very bright as a perfect blend of veterans and young talent has transformed this once uninspiring and unheralded team into one of the hottest franchises in the West. The Additions of Howard Eisley and Christian Laettner through trades for practically nothing as well as the best draft day ever for Don Nelson where he took, Courtney Alexander, Donnell Harvey and Etan Thomas. It seems that all areas that needed to be addressed has been addressed, and with superstar Michael Finley and budding superstars Dirk Nowitzki and Courtney Alexander leading the way, the Mavericks will be looking to go deep into the playoffs. Now the question has to be asked, has Mark Cuban's money translated into Dallas' first playoff appearance since 1995? We find out in our latest NBA team preview.
